Alyssa/120 events were our life savers. My wife and I started planning our wedding in August of 2022 for a date in July of 2023. We had booked services for a day of coordinator with a different business originally but things did not work out with them due to a lack of professionalism/organization. We ended up firing our previous coordinator about 6 1/2 months before the wedding date and were desperately looking for someone to step in. We had pretty much chosen all our big vendors and the outdoor ranch style venue we were using made our lives easier by providing food, table decor, as well as tables/chairs, so we wanted someone to help us finalize the little important details that would really put the cherry on top to our perfect day.
As soon as Alyssa came on board and wanted to support us knowing the previous experience we had with a coordinator before and the difference was night and day.
From the moment we reached out, Alyssa was great at communicating with us, extremely transparent and very understanding of our vision. She helped us finalize the unique details about our wedding and helped come up with creative ways to cut the budget wherever possible. She also helped us fit all the Mexican traditions we wanted into our schedule for the big day in a way that still made the day feel effortless and enjoyable. We had a guest list of over 250 people and she helped ensure all the details couples tend to miss were throughly thought-out and kept us on time with our to do's each month. Our venue/church coordinators threw curve balls at us days before the wedding but she was able to pivot and figure out ways to still make things work for our needs while ensuring we felt great going into the big day.
Alyssa goes above and beyond for her clients and it shows in how much time and effort she puts into her organization, communication with clients and vendors, intentionality and overall management of her business. We will forever be grateful for Alyssa and the 120 events team for stepping in when they did and helping make our day as perfect as it was.
